Seemingly useless but useful household tips

Over the years in my internet surfing, I have come across many interesting seemingly useless but are in fact very useful tips on doing our day to day stuff really easily. Things like how to peel a hard boiled egg really fast, how to open a wine bottle without a wine opener, how to fold your t-shirts in 3+ seconds, how to seal a bag of chips without rubber bands and the list goes on...

In this hub, I will be compiling some of these little tips that are good to know and might come into handy in the future. (Video tutorials have also been included)

1. After you have boiled your egg, make a small incision on the top and bottom of the egg.
2. Position top of the egg to your mouth and place another hand at the bottom of the egg.
3. Blow through the top of the egg.
4. Egg shell would be blown off the egg quickly and cleanly.

Voila! Eggshell is removed. If you plan on serving these eggs to your guests, I would suggest that you give the eggs a wash first.

Basically this method requires you to grab parts of the shirt and in a swift movement get it folded. Have a look at the video tutorial. This method is great because it actually allows you to fold your shirts fast and in a uniform manner. Time saving and neat, I like!

This little tip is great if you do not have any rubber ties or bag clips nearby. You basically do a series of folding and overlapping of the wrapper to seal the bag. Needs some practice though but it is a good skill to have.

Ever been to a party with a bottle of wine and just as you were about to open the bottle, you realize that you do not have a bottle opener in hand? Happened to me one too many times. But fret not, I have a discovered this really useful tip that is going let you serve that bottle of wine as long as you have a shoe in hand.

Not recommended for really expensive wines though.
